Cedar Rock Wellness is a multidisciplinary health and wellness clinic in Squamish, British Columbia, created to redefine what community healthcare feels like. We blend clinical excellence with a calm, refined environment that helps clients feel supported, empowered, and seen. Our integrated team spanning occupational therapy, physiotherapy, massage therapy, personal training, acupuncture, and holistic health works collaboratively to help individuals move, heal, and thrive.

As an Occupational Therapist with over twenty years of clinical experience in Canada and the UK, I founded Cedar Rock Wellness in 2024 after recognizing a profound need for modern, compassionate, and inclusive care. The idea was born from both professional observation and personal experience, seeing how fragmented and impersonal healthcare could feel, especially when my own family faced serious illness. I envisioned a space where evidence-based practice meets humanity, where clients experience both expertise and genuine connection, and where practitioners can work within a culture grounded in respect and collaboration.

In our first year, Cedar Rock Wellness has grown from an empty shell into a vibrant and trusted centre for wellness in the Sea to Sky corridor. We have built a team of dedicated professionals who embody our values of honesty, reliability, fairness, and community-minded care. Together, we've hosted public workshops such as Muscles and Menopause, created partnerships with local businesses like Graze Wilder, Euphoria, RunUphill and the Squamish SloPitch, and supported charitable initiatives including Movember and the Squamish Cancer Society as well as the Ron Anderson Memorial Golf Tournament. These collaborations have positioned Cedar Rock Wellness as both a healthcare provider and a community partner.

Entrepreneurship in healthcare requires creativity, resilience, and an unwavering belief in purpose. As founder and director, I manage all aspects of the business, from recruitment and mentorship to financial operations, marketing, and strategic planning, while maintaining my clinical practice and continuing medico-legal consulting work. Balancing these roles has demanded long hours, resourcefulness, and constant innovation, but it has also allowed me to create a sustainable model that supports independent clinicians and ensures consistent quality of care for clients.

Cedar Rock Wellness stands out because it brings an elevated standard of care to a small community that values both the science and the soul of wellness. We've created a clinic experience that feels calm, contemporary, and empowering, while building meaningful relationships with our clients and peers. Every design choice, service, and partnership reflects a belief that healthcare can be both professional and deeply human.
