Headquartered in Squamish (S?wx?wú7mesh), B.C., Carbon Engineering (CE) is focused on advancing technologies for capturing carbon dioxide – the primary greenhouse gas responsible for climate change - from the air around us. At CE, we are a team of innovators from around the world who share a vision, purpose, and commitment to deliver large-scale climate change solutions.
Our Innovation Centre, built in 2021 and located in the Oceanfront area, provides an optimal environment for scientists, engineers, and innovators to drive this critical climate technology forward. With 170+ employees and counting, CE recently shared plans to invest in new technology development facilities to support our growing team and research initiatives. The additional facilities in the Business Park area of Squamish will continue the company's focus on creating an optimal environment for both innovation and the people who drive this important work.
As CE celebrates 10 years in Squamish next year, we continue to express our gratitude for the support from our employees, the community, and local leadership. Specifically, it's with gratitude and respect for our operations on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation that we are continuously reminded of the importance of this work by the beautiful natural surroundings as we strive to grow our efforts to achieve a net zero future.
