Dine Wilder Events

Dine Wilder Events is a newly founded independent business that in just our first year has transformed the way people experience connection, community, and creativity in Squamish and beyond. We design fully immersive events that turn everyday spaces, such as local butcheries, clothing stores, and bookstores, into stages for learning, celebration, and inspiration.

With an influx of new residents moving up from Vancouver, we hear again and again that we are filling a gap they would have otherwise felt - a little slice of beauty that is not directly tied to the outdoors, despite having hosted a dinner specifically for Tourism Squamish at Valhalla. When did you last eat underneath a canoe?

We are also tightly woven into the lives of young women at Howe Sound Secondary School, whom we frequently hear we are inspiring through our events and example (we frequently gift them tickets).

FEAST later this month is the first conference of its kind in Squamish, bringing together all female-identifying humans for a full-day experience with four inspiring speakers, a panel discussion, and partnerships with the most pioneering female-owned brands in BC and across Canada. Guests are traveling from as far away as Ontario for their first professional development day in Squamish, and many extend their visit to explore a town they would never usually spend time in. When women from out of town enter one of our Squamish dinner venues, they often squeal with excitement, saying "We had no idea this type of community lived in Squamish" or “When did Squamish get so cool?”

Dine Wilder Events doesn't just show promise for continued growth, we are growing - massively and as fast as our legs can carry us (whilst acting as sponges and learning as much as possible along the way). We are redefining event experiences, expanding our reach, and creating new ways to inspire community connection. As a young, independent business, we hope to serve as an example and inspiration for other new businesses in our community.
